The Grand Canyon of the Colorado River is one of the most impressive geologic wonders in the world. At 277 miles in length and up to 18 miles in width, it offers enough adventure to last several lifetimes. Although many visitors don’t make it past the rim, hiking down into the canyon immerses you in the grandeur of the canyon and gives you a new sense of appreciation for the incredible size of the chasm. I have been fortunate to see many areas of the Grand Canyon, but each time I add more adventures to my list!
